Heh, this should be pretty cool when finished! My only pointer right now? Make the direction arrow (the one that shows which direction you are facing) visible against any ground (ie. more contrast, give it a white stroke), that way you can see the arrow if the marine is in a shadowed area, or out in a bright area.
